Childhood tuberculosis (TB) has historically been neglected, although in recent years there has been increased focus on this problem. To raise awareness, I created an extension of an existing campaign “World TB Day” hosted by the World Health Organization. The overall campaign falls under the ‘It’s time’ theme but focuses on the accelerated cases of childhood TB in developing countries. This extension campaign provides approaches, guidelines and tools to encourage early detection of TB.
Creating a poster series (3 posters) and adverts (3 bus adverts) that are aimed towards parents and caretakers, to raise awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB, and to step up efforts to end the global childhood TB epidemic. Each poster focuses on a different aspect of the issue (each poster correlates to a bus advert in both content and imagery).
