One of the first projects I worked on with TCG is to create pitch document templates to present to future clients. Whether it’s a template showcasing the company’s portfolio or a brief document presenting a project idea and the following logistics.
These templates allow for a constant form, making it easier for clients to quickly locate important aspects of correspondence. Uniformity could impress prospective and current customers who know the level of professionalism they will receive by working with the company, while also keeping language succinct. The templates I created followed the company’s design guidelines, yet they are unique and stand independently.

Brainstorming ideas  for the proposal by analysing the existing material

The first template is the briefing document. I was asked to design a document that presents our pitch and approach to the client. I was also asked to have the document work with the rest of the team, also presenting the client’s brand identity so we can have a single file that has all we need to kickstart a project. This first version is a dummy, testing a real-life project and whether or not the template was successful, which it was. The template had to be able to display the necessary information in the simplest way, without visually overwhelming the viewer. Each section had to be clearly shown within the set brand guidelines.
Sanofi pharmaceuticals proposal
I applied the first template to a real project example. Above is the first draft of the briefing document I designed for the given client. With this specific document, I proposed to alter the colour schemes given to the specific client, to work with their branding. Yet we would be consistent with the use of space, shapes and typefaces. When preparing the documents, I would do the research and write the content that will later be tweaked by my team. One of the challenges I faced when preparing this type of document, is to figure out the client’s brand identity (fonts, colour scheme and imagery) without any provided reference. I learned a way to derive fonts and exact colour ways from digital platforms using AI.
Display of our work
The second document  I created, could be argued as the most important; the company’s portfolio.  The template I made holds equal parts imagery and text to create a symmetrical value that is consistent with the TCG barn. This portfolio includes a collection of all of the projects done by TCG which constitute and make up the company. This template is adjusted for each client, to show the relevant examples rather than go through a 70-page document. Each page displays three key thumbnails from the project and a description and quotes from the client. The images chosen are the most visually stimulated, which are accompanied by a link to each project for each page. This document helps to determine and develop growth strategies for introducing new products and earning new businesses. At the same time, it helps to decide whether the company should or not retain certain products. This template has two versions; one that has all of the projects TCG has ever worked on, and another that is customised for the client.
Detailed project document
The third document template that I created is a detailed version of the previous template, focusing on how TCG tackled each project and came up with the given solutions.  This document would be provided upon request of the client, to gain a better understanding of the company’s approach and process Overall these templates have proven to be successful as they have been used consistently throughout the year.
